GoHospital helps people find hospitals. This policy explains what data we handle. It is a starting template — have it reviewed by a Nigerian data-protection lawyer before launch (the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 applies).

Visitors searching for hospitals

• We do not require an account to search.
• If you tap “Use my location”, your browser shares your position so results can be sorted by distance. It is used for that request only and is not stored by us.
• We do not ask for or store health information. Search words you type are used to match specialties and are not saved against your identity.

Hospital accounts

• We store the hospital profile you submit, your name, login email, a securely hashed password, sign-in times, and a history of status updates.
• Hospital profile information and live status are shown publicly. Your login email and name are not shown.

Contact messages

If you write to us, we store your name, email and message so we can reply.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep hospital and admin users signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
